Refund policy.

We aim to be straightforward about what is refundable and what is not. This policy applies to all question packs, reports, and subscriptions purchased through the Platform.

§ 01

24-hour refund window for unread answers

If you have purchased a question pack and have not yet unlocked or read the answer, you may request a full refund within 24 hours of the purchase time. The 24-hour window begins from the timestamp of the completed Stripe payment.

"Unread" means the answer has not been unlocked. Unlocking an answer — by clicking the reveal button or paying the unlock fee — constitutes reading for purposes of this policy, regardless of how much of the answer you viewed.

§ 02

No refund for unlocked or read answers

Once an answer has been unlocked, no refund is available for that answer, regardless of whether you found the guidance helpful. This policy exists because the value of the answer — the rule corpus reasoning, the verbatim rule body — has been delivered.

If you believe an answer was factually incorrect, produced due to a technical error, or involved a software fault rather than a reasoning disagreement, contact us and we will investigate. Verified technical failures are handled separately from disagreements with answer content.

§ 03

Pro-rata refunds for unused pack credits

If you purchased a multi-question pack (3 or 5 questions) and have not used all credits, you may request a pro-rata refund for the unused credits within 24 hours of the original purchase.

The refund amount is calculated as: (unused credits / total pack credits) × purchase price. Credits that have been used to unlock answers are not refundable.

After the 24-hour window, unused credits remain valid for use but are not refundable. Credits do not expire while your account is active.

§ 04

Refund process

To request a refund, email hello@astron.example with:

  • The email address associated with your account
  • The question pack or report you purchased
  • The reason for the refund request

We will respond within 48 hours to confirm whether your request is eligible and to initiate the Stripe refund if approved.

§ 05

Stripe processing time

Approved refunds are processed through Stripe. The refund typically appears in your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Stripe refund timelines are outside our control. If your refund has not appeared after 10 business days, contact us and we will provide the Stripe refund reference number for you to follow up with your bank.

§ 06

Disputes and grievance officer

If you disagree with a refund decision, you may escalate the matter to our Grievance Officer. We will review the case within 30 days and provide a written response.
